An email from Ty when he worked at NASA

here’s some of the scanning electron microscope images that i took.  its of foam at really zoomed in levels.

in the _m05 pic (the middle red one) you can see where the foam bubbles were cut with a razor blade. those are the ‘lines’ that have really small texture.
