And a funny story about that picture of the two pink guys laughing: Two years ago I cut a bunch of pictures out of a random magazine. Somehow one of those cutouts ended up in a folder of photos that I brought here.Somehow that one cutout ended up on my floor. It stayed there for a while after a crafts night, and this week I finally decided it would go well in a ripped hole that appeared on a piece of paper I had taped to my closet. 2 days later I went to see an exhibit called CHINA:THE NEW WAVE. THIS PHOTO of a painting by artist Yue Minjun (of whom I had no previous knowledge) was one of the biggest paintings on display at this exhibit of Chinese contemporary art. Serendipity.
